Summer 2019 Information Coming Soon!

We know many families are beginning to think about their summer plans, and while we would love to get you all of the details now, we are working hard to line everything up to make for a wicked fun summer!

Here are the details we can provide . . .

  • Summer Camp 2019 will run June 24 through August 15 (subject to change based on school's final end date).
  • The Summer 2019 brochure with basic camp information will be available online at the beginning of March. Printed copies will be available in our office shortly thereafter.
  • Detailed schedule with trips will be available no later than Friday, May 3.
  • Summer day camp registration will begin Tuesday, March 19. This early registration period will be for those who are registering for all 8 weeks of summer camp. This super early registration period (with discounts) will end on April 1 at 4:00 pm.
  • Individual week registration will open up on Tuesday. April 2. This is also the opening date for summer specialty camps.

While we cannot yet confirm pricing and schedules, we have provided last year's camp information as a guide to what to expect from each camp.

Summer Day Camp 2018

Registration for full 8-week program options begins Monday, March 12!
Individual week registrations begin Monday, April 2.

Scarborough Community Services welcomes new and past campers to Summer Day Camp 2018.  We are looking forward to providing a safe environment where everyone can make new friends, explore and develop new skills, and simply have lots of fun! Art and gym activities, theme programming, and field trips will take place throughout the summer for students entering Grades K to 5. For students entering Grades 6 to 9, this eight-week program offers a wide variety of daily activities and numerous trips throughout the summer to places like Sebago Lake, Funtown/Splashtown, a Sea Dogs game, paintball, and whitewater rafting. Please register early as space is limited!

Please be sure to review our Parent Survival Guide for detailed information on our Summer Day Camp programs.

NEW this year, in-person registration will no longer be required!

Both payment options, pay in full and payment plans, will be available through our online system. You will simply answer the required questions, choose to pay in full or set up a payment plan with a valid credit or debit card, and then proceed to checkout. Payment plans will require a minimum deposit, or you may pay more down if you would like smaller weekly payments. Payment plans will run every Friday from June 22 through August 10.  As always, everyone still has the option to register in person using a valid debit card, cash, or check. EFT payments plans will no longer be available.

Please Note:  With our new installment billing system, we are only able to withdraw funds from one debit or credit card per child -- we cannot split one child’s bills between two cards. Households with two or more children setting up payment plans may connect a different card to each child, if they choose to.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CHILD CARE FAMILIES: If you child is currently in the child care program and you pay for that service monthly or bi-monthly, you will need to remove your child care billing from your shopping cart before paying for summer services. Removing the fees will not affect your enrollment in the program. If you do not remove them, the online system will be looking for full payment, which will result in overpayment, as your EFT will continue as normal.

Online registration began Monday, March 12!
