February Vacation Theater Camp -- Ages 7-12

Mr. Reagan's Theater Camp is back by popular demand! The camp will teach theatrical skills and provide a fun, safe, and creative environment for students during their February school break. The camp will conclude with a short performance for parents and friends. No theater experience necessary -- just an open mind and willingness to try. Youth Wrestling — Grades K-6

The goal of the youth wrestling is to teach the basics and fundamentals of folkstyle/collegiate wrestling. The practices will consist of warm up, technical sessions, practicing the techniques with a partner, 1 on 1 wrestling and review of the techniques. The coaches (High School Varsity & current college wrestlers) will also emphasize discipline, work ethic, integrity and good sportsmanship. The practices will be challenging and fun for every level of wrestler. The coaches look forward to teaching the future High School Varsity wrestlers.

Learn to LAX Clinics

Engineered to teach youngsters the very basics of lacrosse, this program will prepare players for the upcoming spring season. It is also a great way to stay active during the winter months. Participants will have a blast while competing in various lacrosse games like storm lacrosse, chumash, ultimate, and more. Older and more skilled players will play in small-field lacrosse games. Instructor: Dav St. Germain

Grades 2-4 will have sticks and goggles available to use upon request. Grades 5-8 must bring own equipment.

Do you have an idea for a youth recreation program? Do you want to run a recreation program through Scarborough Community Services?

Please complete the Program Proposal Form [PDFand return it to Community Services, either in-person, through email, by fax, or by mail.

Scholarships

Community Services offers financial assistance for youth programs, senior activities, and child care (subject to change and availability).

Please come into the Community Services Office to fill out the appropriate form or call us at 730-4150 for more information.
