Route 1 Corridor Study

Study Purpose and Need Statement

The purpose of this study is to make the Route 1 corridor from Downtown Saco to Pleasant Hill Road in Scarborough safe and accessible for all travel modes, including motor vehicles, transit users, bicyclists, and pedestrians. Making the corridor more accessible will stimulate economic development, reduce vehicle delay, and improve safety for all users.

Public Meeting, December 13, 6pm at Scarborough Town Hall

The purpose of this first public hearing will be to review the inventory and analysis conducted by our consultants with the team at TYLin.  We will review issues identified by town staff, but more importantly the intent of this public hearing is to hear from you, the community and resident users of the Route 1 corridor!

Please join us and help inform and guide this process.
