300th HOPE placement.

posted Jan 29, 2018, 7:00 AM by Tim O'Brien

On 01/24/18, we made our 300th placement! It was a big day for us.

Thank you to our volunteer "Angels" and partnering treatment centers/sober homes for all you do for and with us. You are all amazing!

Thank you to every donor, large or small, because every single dollar directly benefited one of these Mainer in need of treatment, a kind word, and a hand up.

Thank you as well to all our Scarborough PD employees who've provided immense support since day 1. You've each helped us take on a huge program and you should all be proud of the roles you played.

Most importantly, THANK YOU to every person who has walked in here and asked for help. Thank you for trusting us, thank you for being brave, and thank you for accepting you can't fight alone. We are proud of every one of you, even those we couldn't help, because we know how much strength it took to walk into a PD and be honest about your struggles.

We've come a long way since 10/1/15. We've suffered losses and setbacks but continued to push forward, always. We will keep doing what we can for as long as we can, because every person with Substance Use Disorder is someone's daughter, son, mom, dad, friend....and every single one of their lives matters.

If you are breathing, there is HOPE.
