Christmas Tree Collection

posted Dec 28, 2018, 9:32 AM by Leona Oceania
For the entire month of January, the Public Works Department will be picking up discarded Christmas Trees. If you would like to take advantage of this service, place your Christmas Tree curbside on your normal trash collection day, and we will be by to pick it up!

Please remember: The trees will be picked up by the Public Works Department, not Pine Tree Waste. Although we ask that you put the tree out on the same day as your trash collection, the trees will NOT be collected by Pine Tree Waste along with your trash and recycling. In short, if your trash/recycling has been picked up, but your tree is still there - have no fear! We will be by to collect it!

If there happens to be snow in the forecast on the day that you plan to put out your tree, please be sure that it is pulled back from the curb enough so that it does not get buried by the snowplow(s). Thank you!
