Election Information for Tuesday, June 11, 2019

There will be a School Budget Validation Referendum Election and a Special Municipal/Referendum Election on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

Absentee Ballots [Sample Ballots below] are available at Town Hall during regular business hours. Voting in the presence of the Town Clerk without a reason will end on Thursday, June 6, 2019.  Starting Friday, June 7, 2019 and including Monday, June 10, 2019, the Voter must complete a Special Circumstance Application [see below] stating one of the four reasons:

·         An unexpected absence from the municipality during the entire time the polls are open on election day;

·         A physical disability,

·         An inability to travel to the polls because the voter is a resident of a coastal island ward or precinct; or

·         An incapacity or illness that has resulted in the voter being unable to leave home or a treatment facility.

This special circumstances application must be signed by the voter.  NOTE:  The deadline for returning absentee ballots has not changed.  You can return ballots until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 11,2019, at the High School.

Voting will take place at the High School Alumni Gymnasium on Election Day, Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. As a reminder the main entrance to the High School is now located at the traffic light in front of the Municipal Building at 259 U.S. Route One.

 Regular business hours are: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, except for the first and third Wednesday, we are open until 6:30 p.m.
