Election Update - Absentee Ballots

Tuesday, November 8th, State General & Referendum Elections and Municipal Elections Information:

Absentee Ballots are now available at Town Hall in Council Chambers during regular business hours - Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except on Wednesday we will be open for voting until 6:30 p.m. The voter may request an absentee ballot by completing the Application for an Absentee Ballot form below and mail it to the Scarborough Town Clerk's Office at P.O. Box 360, Scarborough, ME 04070-0360 or the voter can contact the Town Clerk's Office at 730-4020 to make their request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to them or go to http://www.maine.gov/sos/cec/elec/voter-info/absent.html and fill out the e-form request. Deadline to order absentee ballots is Thursday, November 3, 2016, by 4:00 p.m.

Scarborough has five Districts [29/28, 29/29, 30/27, 30/28 and 30/29]; if the voter is not sure of which Senate or House District they are in – please check the Street Listing below. Sample Ballots are listed below as well as the Sample ballot for the Municipal Election.

Voting will take place at the High School Gymnasium on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. As a reminder the main entrance to the High School is now located at the traffic light in front of the Municipal Building at 259 U.S. Route One.
