Beginning June 20, 2023, all transactions using a debit or credit card, whether in office or online, will be assessed a 2.49% processing fee. This processing fee aligns with the other Town of Scarborough offices that process payments.
Programs that involve monthly or weekly billing, such as summer camp and child care, will be processed differently. Since these will be connected to a checking or savings account and processed as an e-check, there will be a $1-per-transaction fee versus a percentage for each withdrawal.
There will still be the option to register and pay for activities, programs, or reservations in person using a check or cash. Our Hub desk hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Fridays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
