Adult Recreation

Scarborough Community Services offers adult recreation programs throughout the year. Programming includes open gym basketball, pickleball lessons, fitness and wellness classes,  and enrichment workshops.

Community Services also offer a variety of engaging trips, activities, programs, and social opportunities for older adults, catering to different activity levels and interests. For more information, you may visit the Senior Programs webpage.


You may register on Webtrac 24/7 or by calling the office at 207-730-4150 during regular business hours. We are open at 418 Payne Road in Scarborough Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Extended Programs

Drop-In Qigong

Qigong is an ancient branch of Traditional Chinese medicine that combines gentle movement, breathwork and visualization to open and balance the energy channels in the body. Medical Qigong promotes mental and physical health, balance and vitality and is especially beneficial as we age. All ages and levels welcome; no prior experience or equipment needed. Instructor: Megan Dolan.
