Senior Programs

Senior Programs are opportunities for anyone age 55 or older to engage and socialize with fellow participants through an array of active, activity-oriented, and fun programming. These are offered year-round and rotate on a seasonal basis. Programs are available nearly every weekday. All program details can be viewed in the seasonal brochure.

Shades of Ireland Tour 2024

Scarborough Community Services is partnering with Collette Travel to offer our residents and neighbors the opportunity to explore our world!

Our maiden voyage will be the Shades of Ireland tour, scheduled for October 2-11, 2024. If your bucket list includes a trip through the Emerald Isle, you will not want to miss this! Collette Travel  makes their tours affordable, all inclusive, easy to plan, and most importantly, safe. Prices start at $3,929 per person which includes transfers, flights, a full 10-day itinerary, 13 meals, a dedicated guide, and more.

General Information

How to Register

Registration can be over the phone (call 730-4150) using a debit or credit card (you may need to leave a message and wait for a return call). Or, stop by the SCS Hub at 418 Payne Road, Scarborough between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 

Program Location

Senior Programs are all based out of the Community Services Hub at 418 Payne Road, Scarborough (unless otherwise noted).

Senior Resources

Sand for Seniors

Scarborough senior citizens in need of sand for their driveways and sidewalks can have a bucket of sand delivered FREE to their residence. Please contact Jake Murphy with your request at jmurphy@scarboroughmaine.org. Please be sure to leave your name, telephone number, and address.
