The Town of Scarborough Planning and Code Enforcement Department is seeking a part-time Plans Reviewer. This position is technical and administrative, responsible for reviewing residential, commercial building, and other permit applications and issuing building permits in an equitable and uniform manner. The hourly rate for this part-time position is $40.00 per hour. This position offers flexible hours, averaging 10-20 hours per week. Applications must be received by Sunday, July 7, 2024.

The Town of Scarborough is seeking highly motivated applicants for a full-time Dispatcher to join our Public Safety team.  The Town of Scarborough, Maine Emergency Communications Center is one of the premier Emergency Communications Centers in the State of Maine.  The newly built state of the art Emergency Communications Center provides full service emergency communications, emergency call processing, and 9-1-1 answering services for the Town of Scarborough, Town of Old Orchard Beach, and Town of Buxton, Maine. 

The Town of Scarborough, Maine, is seeking an experienced and collaborative professional for the full-time position of Deputy Director of Public Works. This is a skilled senior management position requiring both administrative and technical experience. The Deputy Director will serve as a member of the Public Works’ senior management team and assist the Director in leading a department of approximately 30 full-time employees with a budget of $8 million (FY25). Online application, resume, and cover letter must be received by June 23, 2024.
