The Information Technology Department provides shared technology services for the Town of Scarborough and Scarborough Public Schools utilizing a single team of technology professionals to efficiently meet the needs of the community and schools.
The IT Department provides all planning, design, construction, implementation, maintenance and support for software applications, network & data center systems, and user devices required by both organizations.
Provides web development and support, ongoing operation of critical student & business systems, software integration, internal data analysis & reporting, and regulatory reporting to Local, State and Federal sources.
Provides support for all key data systems and workflow processes required to meet the needs of the schools & community, including data servers & storage, business and educational operations, communications, disaster recovery, network and telephone.
Provides on-site device distribution & setup services, ongoing office & classroom support, system troubleshooting & repair, asset management, ongoing lifecycle refresh programs, and remote customer service via IT Help Desk.
