• The SCS Hub: Warehouse, Activity Rooms (online reservations coming soon!)

Council Chambers Room Arrangement Options

When requesting to use Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, you must select a room set-up from a predetermined list. These arrangements are the standards for our maintenance staff. If there is a specific set-up that is not included on this list, please contact Community Services directly at (207) 730-4150 to discuss your request and room capabilities.

Outdoor Reservations

Community Services oversees the scheduling of fields and outdoor facilities within the Town of Scarborough. Outdoor spaces available for public use include:

• High School Sports Complex: Baseball field, softball fields, turf field, four multi-purpose fields, track, tennis courts, basketball courts
• Middle School Sports Complex: Baseball field, softball field, two multi-purpose fields.
• Memorial Park: Three multi-purpose fields, skate park, gazebo
• Peterson Sports Complex: Three multi-purpose fields, two softball fields, Little League baseball field
• Springbrook Park: Six multi-purpose fields, two softball fields
• Willey Park: Two multi-purpose fields, one baseball field, one Little League baseball field.
• Black Point Park: One multi-purpose field.

Outdoor Lighting Management

Our wireless lighting system allows users within the community to schedule field lights. The High School Sports Complex light system is set up in seven zones as follows:

• McFarland (Baseball) Field
• Turf Field
• Varsity Softball Field
• 114 Softball Field
• Track
• Tennis Courts
• Basketball Courts

Rates

Facility	Rate
Courts (Basketball/Tennis)	$15 per hour
Fields	$70 per hour
All accounts operate on a prepaid basis. To set up an account or for further information, please contact Community Services.

 

Weddings and Special Events

Bleachers

Community Services occasionally rents out two sets of portable bleachers to organizations in need of special event seating. If interested in renting one or both sets (each seats up to 350 people), please contact us at 730-4150 to check on availability. If available, we will require the Bleachers Reservation Form to be completed and submitted with pre-payment.

Banner Requests

Non-profit organizations may request to hang a banner across Route 114/Gorham Road (by Scarborough High School) to announce an upcoming non-profit activity in the Town of Scarborough. Banners may be hung for a maximum duration of two weeks and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see the request form linked below for all specifications for banners.
