Public Meeting Notice: Spurwink Road Project

Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, 6:00 PM

The public meeting will be held at the Public Safety Building, 275 US Route One, Scarborough

Town employees from Public Works and project engineers will present information regarding the Spurwink Road Traffic & Pedestrian Improvement Project. The presentation will include the findings of the planning and design phase as well as the overall project goals and proposed timeline. Residents are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback.

About the Project: The project is for two miles of Spurwink Road from Ocean Ave to the Cape Elizabeth line and is anticipated to include a road realignment as well as the addition and improvement of pedestrian and bicyclist amenities. It will also address dangerous curves and intersections to the greatest extent possible, as well as improve road surface and drainage issues.
