Scarborough residents with private subscription accounts with Casella Waste - Please take note!

Scarborough residents who have an existing private subscription account with Casella Waste, either because you live on a private road and have contracted for private collection, or otherwise have a private collection account with Casella Waste for any reason, please note the following: 

  • Your privately contracted trash collection with Casella Waste will continue to be serviced by Casella. No action is required by you. 
  • Your trash collection day has been changed to Thursday.
  • At some point in the future, Casella will replace your Town-provided trash carts with Casella carts. Casella says that notice will be provided in advance. 
  • If you have any questions regarding your private account with Casella, please call Casella at 207.518.8653.
