Important Alert: Recent Phishing Attempt

Please be advised, town staff have received reports of a recent phishing attempt where a resident received a DocuSign request claiming to be the Town of Scarborough. The DocuSign request contains a link and a QR code which directs the user to an external URL. This is a known phishing tactic that uses the DocuSign platform to send and obscure malicious links or request for personal information. If you are unsure of the legitimacy of the DocuSign request or do not recognize the sender email (as seen below), do not click on the link or scan the QR code.
